Professional Experience
A Lifetime of Public Service
Pearl River isn't just where I work—it's home. It's the community I have proudly served throughout my career and the place I'm honored to call home.
For more than two decades, I have dedicated my life to public service through the Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services, and the Pearl River Police Department. Every step of my career has been guided by one purpose: protecting our community with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
I began my public service career in 2005 with the Fire Department, advancing to the rank of Captain while also serving in Emergency Medical Services. Those years taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
After graduating from the Slidell Regional Police Academy, I joined the Pearl River Police Department as a patrol officer. Through hard work and dedication, I was promoted to Corporal, where I supervised the night shift, and later to Master Sergeant. I was then assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, where I served as Lead Detective, investigating serious crimes and working closely with victims, families, and fellow law enforcement agencies.
Today, I proudly serve as a Lieutenant and Field Training Coordinator. In these roles, I supervise the night shift, oversee daily operations, mentor and train new officers, and help ensure our department maintains the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and service.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to leading by example, supporting my fellow officers, and building strong relationships within our community. My experience in the fire service, EMS, patrol, criminal investigations, supervision, and officer training has prepared me to lead our Police Department into the future.
I believe in building on the progress our department has made while continuing to improve through leadership, innovation, training, and strong partnerships with our community. As Pearl River continues to grow, we must continue moving forward, investing in our officers, preventing crime before it happens, and keeping our town one of the safest places to live, work, and raise a family.
It would be an honor to continue serving the citizens of Pearl River as your next Police Chief.
